Izzy the Inchworm

She’s silly! She’s cute! She has a great big smile!

Izzy the Inchworm is a way to recognize girls’ hourly achievements in service. Izzy’s head can be had (no pun intended J) for 5 hours of service. Subsequently, sections of her body can be awarded in 5, 25, 50 or 100 hours segments. A girl might choose to have ten 5’s instead of a 50 – that’s ok – provided her vest or sash is big enough! It’s up to you. There are no forms to fill out or hand in; it’s all about Girl Scout Honor!

Service can be given for the community, Girl Scouting, her church or synagogue, or her school, and this is a rare case where “double dipping” is ok! Hours used for other awards such as the Bronze, Silver or Gold, community service bars, may also be counted for Izzy.
